4wd practice was a mentally tough day. We had 10, 5 minute practice sessions, and I only finished 3 of them. I had really weird issues all day long, but my car had signs of promise here and there. We stayed up late together (my 4wd and I) and we talked it out, today is gonna be ok. Even though I only did 1 lap for the seeding run, they seeded me in the final qualifier. They have a rule if you break, they can use knowledge of the driver to seed them. Now I just need to put yesterday behind me. Here is a pic of my car for P1.
I’ll be going for it today, check back in later for some qualifying updates. Thanks for reading and God Bless.
Good Luck. We will watching and pulling for you. How is the new Lazer looking for everyone?
We are all behind u Jared (Bruno from China) !
God Bless You Jared for this blog. Good luck in the finals.
Best of luck Jared. 🙂
Good luck Jared ! We will be thinking of you and have faith in you, Harvey Allison and Heather,
Can you please let me know the weight you used on your RB6?
I didn’t use any weights. I started with weights in the back but during practice I took them off.
Thanks for the reply Jared.
It was great watching you race and again congrats on your 2WD Championship.
No update on 4WD? I guess there is some frustration but should that really be the case after winning a 2WD WC??? It would be interesting to know why it did not go to plan in 4WD. Keep up the great work on your blog!
+1, I’ve heard several rumors from electrical to drive train issues all weekend, it would be nice to know which ones are true. Although due it the car being prototype he probably is restricted in what he can talk about regarding it. Either way a great week for Tebo, even if 4wd is one he probably wants to forget.
It was all electrical and drive train. My slipper shaft broke once (prototype part) then the original one just fell apart the next run. We were rushed and just didn’t tighten it. It was tough, but that’s part of the game.
