Hey guys. I want to post about a modification I’m doing to the front end of my Tekno NB48 2.0 Buggy. I like a lot of steering, but I also drive light on the steering wheel, so I need a linear steering feel as well. We’ve done a lot of testing this year, and this is a great mod that has really helped my feeling with the front end. Doing this will effect the steering in the middle of the turn, but it will also effect the rear ended traction I’ve found. If you see my latest setups, I’m running a lower rear axle height and a softer rear spring.
These modifications are to be able to get full lock steering with no steering lock screw. Depending on the wheels that you use, you might not need to angle the outer front edge of the arm. With AKA wheels, the inner spokes hit the arm there when the outside wheel is full lock.
